Zamok na Pankivskiy

Reconstruction, adaptation, design, own heraldry. Natalia Oleksienko is the author of the "Castle on Pankivska" concept.
The architectural dialogue began a century later with the development of the conceptual basis for the transformation of a profitable building into a modern, elite, club-type residence "Castle on Pankivska".
The principle author's design idea: self-sufficient, sunk in relation to the street, the main facade in the style of Ukrainian Art Nouveau and the "castle style" of the courtyard facade with elements of Ukrainian Art Nouveau.
The historical morphotype of the house with a system of three courtyards has been preserved and strengthened by design developments. The feeling of privacy in the "Castle" arises from the very beginning - from the palisade in front of the house.
The majolica on the superimposed sixth floor is the climax of the scenario. The leading idea of ​​the compositions is the idea of ​​reviving national self-awareness.
The object "Apartment with a garden" is located on the first floor of a seven-story building from the beginning of the last century. Following the lost tradition, it was decided to organize its own separate entrance to the apartment through a spacious terrace.
Thanks to the expansion of boundaries — from "simple" reconstruction of real estate to the maximum possible coverage of historical and cultural aspects, the result was obtained, which is a good example of a modern, civilized attitude to "immovable architectural antiques" - architectural monuments.
